NTEA Teachers of the Year: The North Thurston Education Assc. announced the 2008-09 "NTEA Teachers of the Year" selected by their schools for their contributions to staff and students at the NTEA's Celebration on June 3.

Michael Lee (Chinook),
Kristen Sprague and Quinn Crowell (Nisqually),
Linda Karamatic and Chris Traber (Horizons),
Nancy Hall (Lacey),
Linnea Glover (Mountain View),
Gail Nash (Pleasant Glade),
Victoria Wilmovsky and Peggi Stuart (South Bay) and
Janet Jones (Woodland).
